Dewan Samia
About Dewan
​It is an intellectual and cultural forum that was launched in July 2011. The Dewan is held on Wednesday evening and it raises intellectual, scientific, cultural and social issues for people with disabilities, their parents, specialists in this field and their advocates. Far from politics and extremism, the aim of the Dewan is educating society about the issues of persons with disabilities, and developing awareness about the importance of social inclusion in all aspects of life without discrimination based on disability.
The Dewan was named (Samiya) in memory of the virtuous sister, Samia Muhammad Al-Dhabeeb, as she had a tender heart towards people with disabilities. Her generosity and good will continue to live on through Dewan Samia.
